Can we lay the whole “strong female” thing to rest?

There’s no such thing as a strong female character or a weak female character. There can be bad writing that can make a character weak because they’re not fully developed. That’s okay.

But what you’re really trying to say by “strong female” is that there’s certain ways women should act and behave, and that women who don’t aren’t real women at all.

News flash: there’s no right way to act or behave. women are women are women characters.

Get it through your head.
